Thekla and Andreas Neuer

The Neuer’s have been running the hotel for four generations. Thekla Neuer started the guesthouse “Gästehaus Neuer“ with her husband in 1964. Andreas Neuer, Master Pastry Chef, joined the family business in 1999. After extensive reconstruction of the building in 2000, both of them are running the hotel, restaurant and café. Thekla Neuer is taking loving care of the flower decorations around the buildings, delighting people year by year.

Jörg Linner, Chef and team

Since the reopening in 2000, Jörg Linner is in charge of our restaurant’s cuisine. With his colleagues and helping hands he is creating exquisite meals, ranging from fresh fish from the Chiemsee or delicious meat from our preferred butcher: regional, fresh and quality food, are our premises.

EMelanie Aicher, Master Pastry Chef and team

Everything sweet is the responsibility of our master confectioner, Melanie Aicher. Since 2019 she has been leading the team of our confectioners. Classically trained in the confectionery trade, her great love lies in wedding and motif cakes, which she turns into a unique work of art with her passion every time. The large selection of cakes and tarts as well as our homemade baked goods, rolls, pretzels, bread and much more comes fresh from our bakery every day.

Irmi Pfaffinger, housekeeper with hotel team

For over 10 years Irmi Pfaffinger belongs to our team and cares with great passion and love for our hotel rooms and the whole house. Together with the ladies from the housekeeping they ensure cleanliness and well-being in all our hotel rooms and are always available for any extra request.

Our service team

Our skilled service team is taking care of our guests in the restaurant, café and on our terrace around the clock. With passion for the job and special charm we are delighted to serve you. Under the guidance of Rosi and Oliver, our large service team is always there for you at any time and in any area.

Whether you stay for one night or three weeks, the team at our front desk are happy to make you feel at home from the moment of your arrival until your departure. The hotel’s cat Lucy

Ten years ago a young ginger cat found her way into our house and became a member of our family. Since then she was an inseparable part of our house and to be found at her famous sleeping spot on the front desk. On March 30, 2013 she left us to cat heaven. She is remembered with 12 years of beautiful memories by our guests and us.
